| Description: In October of 2005 I traveled to Niger to travel with my sister as she had just finished a 2 year stint in the Peace Corps. We spent a couple of days in the capital of Niamey. Then we took a week long desert trip up in northern Niger leaving from the city of Agadez. This took us into some remote country with huge sand dunes, nomadic tribes, and some wildlife. Before leaving Niger we also went to see some of the few remaining wild giraffes in Niger. |
