| Location: East Coast almost directly East of Orlando. |
| Description: Canaveral National Seashore sit on a barrier island within viewing distance of Cape Canaveral, home of the space shuttle. It has pristine beaches, dunes, scrub, and flatland habitats providing shelter to 1,045 species of plants and 310 species of birds. Endangered species include, but are not limited to, loggerhead, green and leatherback sea turtles, West Indian Manatee, Southern bald eagle, wood stork, peregrine falcon, eastern indigo snake, and Florida scrub jay. |
| Personal Notes: One of my favorite sunrise photo locations throughout the state. I love arriving before sunrise and photographing the sun breaking over the ocean followed by combing the beach for seashells and other macro opportunities. |
