| Description: This 300+ acre site is owned by Sarasota County and is the County’s primary flood mitigation zone. Mainly open marshlands this site hosts a large number of water birds and wading species. To date, 188 species have been recorded. |
| Personal Notes: A recent discovery. I mainly went looking for rails and was not disappointed seeing Virginia, Sora, and King Rails all in one trip. |
