| Location: Highlands Hammock State Park is located off US 27 on SR 634 (also known as Hammock Road), four miles west of Sebring, FL |
| Description: Opened in 1931 this is one of Florida's oldest state parks. This park has a variety of short trails taking you past some very large and also very old trees in addition to the famous "catwalks" over the swamp. |
| Personal Notes: This is an interesting little park with a good chance to see a variety of wildlife along with some nice cypress swamp landscapes. |
