| Description: Okeeheelee Nature Center features 2.5 miles of trails winding through 90 acres of pine flatwoods and wetlands. Highlights of the center include hands-on exhibits, animal encounters and a nature related gift shop. |
| Personal Notes: Another recent discovery. I mainly went looking for Painted Buntings which frequent the feeders behind the nature center and was not dissappointed. You can sit within 5-10 feet of the feeders and as long as you stay still the birds are not frightened. |
