| Description: Oscar Scherer State Park is one of the best places to see "Scrub" habitat. Because of the abundance of this habitat in the park there is a higher prevalence of some animals such as the threatened scrub jays and gopher tortoises. |
| Personal Notes: The scrub jays here are very photographer friendly and I have had them walk between the legs of my tripod as they move up and down the treeline feeding in the early morning. |
