| Location: In Venice, FL just off US 41. |
| Description: Venice rookery is an island in the middle of a small lake that is nesting ground for many species. Great blue herons, great egrets, anhingas, are the most prevalent. There is also a high probability of seeing cattle egrets, ibis (white and glossy), little blue herons, tricolored herons, green herons, osprey, wood stork and many other species. |
| Personal Notes: One of my favorite places to be near sunrise. I always wish I had a longer lens at this location. Not to be missed location. |
