| Treemont: A side road near Cades Cove that is a nice area to go for a quiet picnic or to sit and read a book. Lots of neat rapids and a hidden secret, Spruce Flats Falls. This was probably my favorite falls because of the solitude and the discovery. From the road only about a 10 foot drop can be seen. This is just the bottom tier of the falls. There are several small drops above this and an upper tier of 20-25 feet with a small pool in front of it. |
